Patrick Desrosiers New Head Scout

The organization of the Gatineau Olympiques, through its director of hockey operations and head coach, Louis Robitaille, confirms the appointment of Patrick Desrosiers as the new head scout.

Patrick Desrosiers served until recently as the QMJHL director of Central Scouting. Previously, he had served as an assistant head scout with the Victoriaville Tigers and the Charlottetown Islanders, and as a scout with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan and the Baie-Comeau Drakkar. In addition, he was a scout from 2009 to 2011 for Agence Bob Perno, Newport Sports Management.

“Patrick Desrosiers is the ideal candidate for this position. His experience in the QMJHL will be a tremendous asset for our team. As we want to build our team through the draft, this appointment adds to the credibility of our organization. He will set up his team in the coming days, coming weeks” – Louis Robitaille.

“As I recall, the Olympiques have always been a great organization. Whether it’s the players on the ice, the experienced coaches, the strategist leaders and the renowned owners, the Olympiques have always been one of the most prestigious organizations of the QMJHL. When Louis [Robitaille] called me, my thought was not very long. Joining such an organization is an honour for me and I look forward to helping the Olympiques with my experience” – Patrick Desrosiers.
