The Olympiques trim their training camp roster to 27 players

The Olympiques have reassigned Friday five players from their training camp roster.

Goaltenders Alexis Giroux and Nathan Pelletier, defenseman Xavier Brisebois, and forwards Olivier Gervais-Daigneault and Ludovick Lebel have been returned to their respective clubs.

Following those cuts, along with the decision to also reassign forwards Matt McQuade, Jeremy Quesnel, and Benjamin Raymond, the Olympiques currently have 27 players at camp.

The Olympiques their next preseason game Saturday afternoon, at 4 P.M. at Branchaud-Briere Complex, against the Val-D’Or Foreurs.
