Olympiques hire Pat Malloy as Skills Development and Performance Coach

The Olympiques are proud to announce the hiring of Pat Malloy as Skills Development and Performance Coach.

Pat has served as a professional hockey Skills and Skating coach for over 20 years. As the current Program Coordinator for The Peak Hockey Program, he brings a wealth of teaching knowledge, which includes working with many professional and elite teams, athletes and coaches.

He is a former Skills and Skating Development Coach for the Buffalo Sabres in the NHL. His focus was player development and enhancement for all of the players in the Sabres organization, specializing in a Skill Based Approach to learning and development during the season and in the off-season as well.

He has developed specific on-ice training methods that target specific energy systems, muscle groups, angles and balance points to enhance skating and hockey skill performance and conditioning. He continues to develop a strong structural base for the Peak Hockey Program, focusing on skill development, mental, physical, nutritional and ethical aspects of the game.

Additionally, he is a Canadian National Skills and Skating Development Coach for Hockey Canada, one of the few nationally certified coaches in the High-Performance Stream within Canadian Hockey.

He continues to work with hundreds of players from various organizations in the National Hockey League. He also has coached for over two decades at the tier 1 level throughout Eastern Ontario and the Ottawa Valley.
