The Gatineau Olympiques have announced on Tuesday the hiring of Genevieve Lalonde as Sales, Marketing and Operations Director. She will start in her new position with the organization immediately, where she will overlook the Administrative team by planning and establishing different development strategies on the sales side, as well as on the marketing side.
Mrs. Lalonde was working since 2007 for Services Financiers Rioux as an Insurance and Group Annuities Consultant, as well as a Financial Security Advisor. In her roles at Services Financiers Rioux, Mrs. Lalonde was in charge notably of the day-to-day operations of the office, as well as being a key part of the research and planning process in keeping and finding new corporate partners.
Before that, she was as an Administrative Agent for Groupe Sportscene Inc., where she was in charge of the administrative team; which included accounting and book-keeping, human resources, and customer service.

This nomination further continues the Olympiques’ desire to invest in its mission and involvement with its fans and the community, as well as overseeing the transition in our new arena by adding a new full-time and fully dedicated member to our administrative team”, explained the Olympiques’ President, Mr. Martin Lacasse.
A Gatineau native, Mrs. Lalonde currently studies at the Universite du Quebec en Outaouais, where she is in the process of completing her Master of Business Administration (MBA). Mother of three children, she’s very familiar with the hockey world since her two boys made her travel throughout the Province from one arena to another.
