Olympiques acquire forward Olivier Bourret from the Screaming Eagles

CAP_BourretOlivier_201819The Olympiques have acquired Thursday forward Olivier Bourret and a 14th round pick in 2020 from the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles in exchange for a 7th round pick and a 12th round pick in 2020. The latter pick belonged initially to the Rimouski Oceanic.

A Verdun native, Bourret was selected in the 3rd round (43rd overall) by the Screaming Eagles in the 2016 QMJHL Draft. The 6’2’’, 191 lbs right winger scored nine goals and added 13 assists for a total of 22 points in 687 regular season games last season. He also registered two assists in 11 playoff games.

In three years in the QMJHL, Bourret registered 24 goals and 57 points in 179 career games.
