Olivier Nadeau will miss 4 to 6 months

GATINEAU – The Gatineau Olympiques announced Tuesday that forward Olivier Nadeau will miss four to six months of activity due to a shoulder injury.

Nadeau underwent surgery in recent weeks. His condition will be re-evaluated on a daily basis.

The 19-year-old, a first-round pick in the QMJHL in 2019 (5th overall), recorded 78 points, including 35 goals, in 65 games during the 2021-2022 season.

Olivier Nadeau was acquired through a trade with the Shawinigan Cataractes on July 4. Due to the injury, the Olympiques get their 2023 first round pick back.
