Marc Saumier leave for Acadie-Bathurst

Louis Robitaille, Olympiques Director of Hockey Operations, announced that Marc Saumier, former player and interim General Manager of the Gatineau Olympiques, will not be back next season. The former player, who saw his number retired by the Olympiques two years ago, joined the Acadie-Bathurst Titan as a senior advisor and director of player development.

When the organization was restructured last December, Marc took over the team. He made some changes to the organization, notably by sending Charles-Antoine Roy to Sherbrooke in return for Samuel Fortier and 3 draft pick.

Marc has done a tremendous job with the Olympiques since his arrival in 2017. The organization would like to thank him for his services and wish him the best of luck in his new role.

Marc, you will always have a special place in the history of the Olympiques.
