Gatineau Olympiques vs Drummondville Voltigeurs – September 19th

The Olympiques are in Drummondville to play against the Voltigeurs at 3pm.

Here’s the Olympiques line-up for the game.

First period with no big story. The two teams study each other and exchange scoring chances.

The Voltigeurs still dominate in shots on goal with 14 against 5 for the Olympiques.

The Voltigeurs are the first to register on the scorecard. Isiah Campbell scores a beautiful play piece made by Jacob Dion and William Dufour.

A second period that will not go down in history… several games unravelled, remains only a pre-season match to adjust.

The third period is the case of Louis Robitaille’s players. Manix Landry starts by opening the board for visitors, assisted by Tristan Luneau and Antonin Verreault. After that, Métis Roelens adds more. The #61 of the Olympiques make 2-1, assisted by Manix Landry and Landry completed a productive evening with a net in an empty goal late in the third period, with the help of Zach Dean.

The Olympiques won 3-1 in Drummondville.

“Just play with a little more intensity, be more present and alert around the net to get the 2nd, 3rd throw”.

“Manix Landry went to get stitches and came back into the game and made 3 points tonight. He is a leader, he is setting an example for our young people. He wants to take more responsibility this year. We love his game and his training camp so far”.
