Darick Louis-Jean traded to Rimouski

Thursday morning, January 7, the organization announced a second transaction with the Rimouski Oceanic.

Darick Louis-Jean, a 20-year-old defensemen, took the road to Rimouski. He will join Evan MacKinnon and Gabriel Boissonneault, traded last week to the Océanic.

In return, the Rimouski Oceanic traded 10th round draft pick in 2021 to the Olympiques.

“On behalf of the organization and myself, I would like to acknowledge Darick Louis-Jean’s time with the Olympiques. Darick is a passionate young man, a hard-working man and a persevering young man who has presented his 110% every day that I have had the chance to see since I meet him. He has been a great teammate and player to our organization throughout his time. I thank you for spending the last 2 and a half seasons in Gatineau and I wish you well with your new organization» – Louis Robitaille, General Manager and Head Coach.
