A memorable 50th anniversary

Dear Fans,

What a year! As part of the 50th anniversary festivities, the Gatineau Olympiques organization had only one idea in mind, to make this season a memorable one.

Well, we can say mission accomplished! It was a season marked by records, incredible attendance, the return of our alumni, and above all, the love of a city for its junior team, and we felt it more than ever!

We are indebted to many people for the success of this 2022-2023 edition.

First of all, thank you to our partners. Your contribution and support takes the organization to another level. Thank you for believing in us, and in our youth in a dark year for junior field hockey. We are extremely grateful to have your support.

Thank you to our game staff. It is safe to say that these dynamic individuals have the Olympics logo tattooed on their hearts.

Thank you to the entertainment team. They are the ones who bring you a quality show night after night. We are fortunate to have such a passionate team, motivated to give you more. The memories created at the Slush Puppie Center over the past two years are in large part due to their exceptional work.

Thank you to our players. The emotions we experienced during that season due to the performances on the ice are still very vivid! Who doesn’t remember that 21-game winning streak? A special edition, with young men who are just as special. Thank you guys for giving us a 50th season worthy of the name.

Finally, thank you fans. Words fail us to tell you how blessed we are to be able to count on you. It was an extraordinary year where the organization broke the franchise record in terms of attendance. Thank you for being passionate. Thank you for believing in your junior team, for being proud of it, and most of all, for being there. You have a great responsibility for the team’s success both on and off the ice. You force us to improve every day.

Thank you for bringing back the flame for your junior team.

See you next year.

Sincerely

The Gatineau Olympiques
